SBDC workshop: U.S. Navy seeks small business contractors
9 a.m. to noon., Friday at Kaua‘i Community College Election Room (behind the Office of Continuing Education and Training)
Free workshop for contractors to gain insight into upcoming requirements for the Kaua‘i Pacific Missile Range Facility, small business programs, Central Contractor Registration and Multiple Award Construction Contracts. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
• One-on-one consultation will also be available immediately after the information session from noon to 1 p.m. or until all questions have been answered.
• Pre-registration is required and can be completed by visiting www.hawaiisbdc.org

Kids Summer Fest
9 a.m. to noon, Saturday at the Hilton Kaua‘i Beach Resort, Jasmine Ballroom
The Bone and Joint Center, an affiliate of Hawai‘i Pacific Health, invites the public to a free family event. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m.
There will be keiki IDs provided by the Kaua‘i Police Department, free sports physicals (ages 5-18, on a first-come, first-served basis), door prizes, and a chance to win a new bike. A healthy snack will also be given while supplies last. Master of Ceremonies hosted by Dr. Kalani Brady, Director of Education for Hawai‘i Pacific Health Conference Services. Event Chair is Dr. Heather Hopkins, M.D., P.T. at Kaua‘i Medical Clinic.
• Pick up or drop off registration forms at the Bone and Joint Center at Kaua‘i Medical Clinic or register by calling 245-1633 or 245-1198. Completed forms can also be faxed to 246-1361.
• For more information or to download a registration form visit www.wilcoxhealth.org
• Deadline for mailing or faxing registrations is Monday.
