County Council

• Information pertaining to the estimated reduction in real property tax revenues as a result of various tax relief measures enacted by the County Council.


• Communication from the mayor, submitting his supplemental budget communication for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 and proposed amendments to the budget bills.

• Request from the Office of the County Attorney for authorization to expend up to $250,000 from the special counsel account to continue to retain outside counsel to represent the county in four cases against James Pflueger.

• A bill to increase the fees at Wailua Golf Course.

1:30 p.m.

• A public hearing concerning an ordinance related to county bus fares.

• A resolution establishing the real property tax rates for the fiscal year starting July 1.

• Bills concerning the operating budget and capital improvement projects list for next fiscal year.

Charter Review Commission

• Review proposed Charter amendment to Section 3.03, relating to increasing the term of office for council members from two years to four years.

Civil Service Commission

3 p.m., Tuesday, Lihu‘e Civic Center, Liquor Control Conference Room.

• Presentation by Mayor Bernard Carvalho Jr. regarding administrative priorities.

Board of Review

1 p.m., Monday, Lihu‘e Civic Center, Mo‘ikeha Building Meeting Room 2.

• Scheduled appeals.

Liquor Control Commission

4 p.m., Thursday, Lihu‘e Civic Center, Mo‘ikeha Building Meeting Room 3.
