Anela Patterson
Anela Patterson is being honored as Hale ‘Opio Kaua‘i, Inc.’s Employee of the Quarter. Anela recently took on an immense responsibility by stepping up to help initiate a new program: Group Foster Home. As administrative coordinator, Anela’s duties already include a myriad of Human Resource tasks, coordination of various program pieces, along with supervision of some of our Therapeutic Foster Parents, otherwise known as our Professional Parents. To add the direct service duties needed to get our new program up and running, Anela is also caring for four youth as their temporary foster parent in the new Group Foster Home. Hale ‘Opio Kaua‘i was not quite ready to begin this new program, but a dire need arose to shelter these youth and Anela offered her years of experience and took on the challenge. She is dedicated and committed to helping the youth and families of Kaua‘i.
