Chiefess to host craft fair Sat.

Chocolate-covered bananas and turkey legs are only some of the treats one can find at the fifth annual Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School craft fair.
Gayle Konishi, who has been coordinating this annual event since its inception, said, the fair will feature more than 20 Kaua‘i vendors with a variety of quality, handmade crafts.
The fair will be at the Chiefess cafeteria on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Some of the items shoppers can browse through include selections of Christmas ornaments, sound-activated piggy banks, hand-painted glassware, ribbon lei, appliqued T-shirts, quilts from the Kaua‘i Quilt Guild, computer covers, Hawaiian quilted pillows, Japanese fabric slippers, placemats and napkin sets, purses and bags as well as an assortment of jewelry.
